A potted history!

Some history about the building

The Ancient House was saved and renovated when much of Holkham village was demolished and rebuilt in the 1880s. The architect was Zephaniah King of London. The bay windows on the front and the Tudor chimney stacks, made in the estate brick works, are from this date.

The start of the project in June 2014

Work begins early June 2014

The redevelopment gets off to a start in early June as Robsons Contractors move in and work begins inside the building.
