Opening at the beginning of May

The furniture and soft furnishings have started to arrive as we prepare to open at the beginning of May. Exciting times ahead.

Each of the ten bedrooms will be individually designed and guests will enjoy the private and secluded walled garden to the rear of the property and there will be ample private parking for residents. While the designs for the new rooms will feel part of The Victoria, they will have their own identity.

With ten different schemes, there will be a range of colours used but all will be chosen to reflect the history of the property and its relationship with the estate. The rooms will have interesting features due to the nature of the building and will be furnished with a mix of contemporary and antique pieces.  They will also benefit from comfortable king size beds.  Bathrooms will be classic in their design but with luxurious, large washbasins, drench showers and cotton bathrobes. Four of the larger rooms will have attractive sitting rooms appealing to families and guests who are looking for their own private, quiet space.

Landscaping is still continuing and the builders vans are beginning to leave. The next and final stages of laying carpets, bringing in furniture will begin shortly ready for opening in May.

The Landscape team are being kept busy. Having planted the hedging at the front of the building, they have moved round to the car park side to start the mammoth task of planting more shrubs to screen the building.
